Holhol is a town situated in the Ali Sabieh Region of Djibouti. It is located approximately 44 kilometres south-west of the capital, Djibouti City, at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level.
The surrounding area is characterized by livestock and fledgling agriculture. The town is historically notable as the birthplace of Cheik Osman Waiss, a nationalist and anti-colonial figure who initiated his movement there.
