Bignona is a town with commune status situated in the Ziguinchor Region of Senegal, located within the Casamance area. It serves as a local administrative center in the southern part of the country.
The town gained brief cinematic recognition for its appearance in the 2004 Spanish film Binta and the Great Idea.
