Gandiaye is a town and urban commune located in the Department of Kaolack in central Senegal. It is situated along National Route 1, approximately 24 kilometers from the city of Kaolack.
The population of Gandiaye consists of several ethnic groups, including the Serer, Wolof, Fula, Bambara, and Jola. At the time of its last census, the town had a population of 18,239 residents.
