Mbaké is a city and urban commune situated in central Senegal. Located approximately 190 km (118 mi) east of the capital, Dakar, it serves as the administrative capital of a department within the Diourbel region.
The city forms an urban conurbation with the nearby city of Touba. This combined metropolitan area has a population of 1,222,275, making it the second-largest agglomeration in Senegal. Mbaké is linked to both Dakar and Touba via the N3 road.
