Yuya was a powerful courtier in ancient Egypt during the Eighteenth Dynasty. He held a significant position within the royal court, where he was married to Thuya, an Egyptian noblewoman who occupied high offices in both governmental and religious hierarchies.
The couple had a daughter named Tiye, who eventually became the Great Royal Wife of Amenhotep III. They are also known to have fathered a son named Anen, who held several prestigious titles including Chancellor of Lower Egypt, Second Prophet of Amun, Sm-priest of Heliopolis, and Divine Father.
