Žimarice is a settlement located in the Municipality of Sodražica in southern Slovenia. It is situated within the valley northwest of Sodražica and is characterized by its composition of several smaller settlement clusters.
The area belongs to the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is currently part of the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
