Zgornji Hotič is a settlement located on the left bank of the Sava River within the Municipality of Litija in central Slovenia. Geographically, the area is situated in the traditional region of Upper Carniola.
The settlement is currently included in the Central Sava Statistical Region along with the rest of its municipality. It serves as a local residential and geographical point within the Slovenian interior.
