Zgornji Gabernik is a settlement located in eastern Slovenia within the Municipality of Rogaška Slatina. Geographically, it is situated at the southwestern foothills of Mount Boč.
The area surrounding Rogaška Slatina belongs to the traditional region of Styria and is currently part of the Savinja Statistical Region.
