Zgornji Duplek is a settlement located in northeastern Slovenia within the Municipality of Duplek. It is situated on the left bank of the Drava River, positioned southeast of the city of Maribor.
The area belongs to the traditional region of Styria and is currently part of the Drava Statistical Region.
