Zgornja Velka is a dispersed settlement located in the Slovene Hills region of northeastern Slovenia. It is situated southeast of Sladki Vrh within the Municipality of Šentilj.
The area is characterized by its rural, dispersed layout typical of the surrounding hilly terrain.
