Makole is a settlement located in northeastern Slovenia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Municipality of Makole and is situated within the Dravinja Valley. The area is geographically categorized as part of the traditional region of Styria.
The settlement was first documented in written records dating back to 1375. Historically, it was also granted market rights.
