Žužemberk is a town located southeast of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It serves as the seat of the Municipality of Žužemberk and is situated within the historical region of Lower Carniola. Administratively, the municipality is currently part of the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
