Veržej is a settlement located in northeastern Slovenia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Municipality of Veržej and is situated on the right bank of the Mura River.
The area is part of the traditional region of Styria and is currently included within the Mura Statistical Region. The locality is notably recognized for its fields of white narcissi, which bloom in the area during the springtime.
