Solčava is a village located in the Upper Savinja Valley in northern Slovenia, situated near the Austrian border. It serves as the largest settlement in the area and functions as the seat of the Municipality of Solčava.
Historically, the village belonged to the region of Styria. In contemporary administrative terms, it is currently included within the Savinja Statistical Region.
