Podvelka is a village located in northeastern Slovenia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Municipality of Podvelka and is situated within the traditional region of Styria, though it falls under the Carinthia Statistical Region.
The settlement is positioned on the right bank of the Drava River. It is also located along the railway line that connects the cities of Maribor and Dravograd.
