Dolenjske Toplice

Dolenjske Toplice is a settlement located near Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia. It serves as the seat of the Municipality of Dolenjske Toplice and is situated within the traditional region of Lower Carniola. Administratively, the municipality is part of the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

The town is positioned on the Sušica River, which flows into the Krka approximately 2 kilometers north of the settlement. It has a population of around 900 residents and is primarily known as a spa town. The area features thermal baths that were originally established in 1658 by the Counts of Auersperg.
