Škofljica is a settlement located in central Slovenia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Municipality of Škofljica and is situated on the eastern edge of the marshlands south of the capital city, Ljubljana.
The municipality falls within the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is currently part of the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.
