Rogatec is a small town located in eastern Slovenia, situated along the border with Croatia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Municipality of Rogatec.
Historically, the area was part of the region of Styria. In contemporary administrative divisions, it is included within the Savinja Statistical Region.
