Radeče is a small town situated in the Lower Sava Valley in eastern Slovenia. It is located within the Sava Hills on the right bank of the Sava River, specifically at the point where it meets Sopota Creek. The town serves as the seat of the Municipality of Radeče and is historically part of the traditional province of Lower Carniola.

Administratively, the town and its municipality are currently included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. Prior to January 2014, these areas were categorized under the Savinja Statistical Region.
