Ormož is a town located in the traditional region of Prlekija, which is part of Styria in northeastern Slovenia. It serves as the administrative seat of the Municipality of Ormož.
The town is situated on the left bank of the Drava River. Due to its geographic position along this waterway, it borders Croatia on the opposite bank of the river.
