Kozje

Kozje is a small town located in eastern Slovenia and serves as the seat of the Municipality of Kozje. Situated in the center of its municipality, it is positioned approximately 36 km from Celje, 107 km from Ljubljana, and 30 km from Rogaška Slatina. The settlement is the primary hub of the Kozje region and is part of the traditional region of Styria, currently falling within the Savinja Statistical Region.

The town is one of the oldest settlements in the area, with its first written mentions dating back to 1016. Historically, it was granted market rights prior to 1384.
