Kidričevo is a town located near Ptuj in northeastern Slovenia. It serves as the seat of the Municipality of Kidričevo and is situated within the traditional region of Styria. Administratively, the municipality is currently part of the Drava Statistical Region.
The town developed primarily due to local industry and is characterized by its industrial nature. It is best known for the Talum aluminum-smelting factory. The urban layout of Kidričevo serves as a notable example of urban planning from the late 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
