Two Boats Village is a settlement located at the foot of Green Mountain on Ascension Island. Founded in the early 19th century, the village originally served as a resting point for sailors who were attempting to ascend the mountain.
The village derives its name from two boats that were previously stuck in the area, positioned perpendicular to the ground to provide shade for passersby. It is currently home to Two Boats School, which serves as the only school on the island.
