Yishun is a residential town and planning area located in the eastern corner of the North Region of Singapore. Formerly known officially as Nee Soon until the 1980s, it serves as a primary residential hub within the country's urban landscape.
The town is bordered by several other regions, including Sembawang to the north and Mandai to the west. To its southwest lies the Central Water Catchment, while it shares boundaries with Ang Mo Kio to the south and Seletar and Sengkang to the east and southeast, respectively.
