Ang Mo Kio is a residential town and planning area located in the North-East Region of Singapore. It is situated approximately 11 km north of the Downtown Core district at the south-western corner of its region, bordered by Yishun to the north, Sengkang to the north-east, Serangoon to the east, Bishan to the south, and the Central Water Catchment to the west.
The area ranks as the fourth most populated planning area in the North-East region and holds the 11th position in terms of total population across Singapore. It serves primarily as a residential hub within the country's urban landscape.
