Uddevalla is a town situated in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It serves as the administrative seat of Uddevalla Municipality and is located at the point where the river Bäveån opens into Byfjorden, a fjord in the south-eastern section of the Skagerrak.
As of 2015, the town had a population of 34,781. It holds the distinction of being the largest town located entirely within the Bohuslän region.
