Trelleborg is a town located in Skåne County, Sweden. As of December 31, 2015, it had a population of 43,359 inhabitants. It holds the distinction of being the southernmost town in Sweden, situated approximately 10–15 kilometres west of the southernmost point of both the country and the Scandinavian Peninsula.
The town serves as an important maritime hub, functioning as one of the most significant ferry towns in Scandinavia and the surrounding Baltic Sea region. Additionally, Trelleborg is recognized as the primary town for the Söderslätt agricultural areas.
