Vaxholm

Vaxholm is a city and urban area located in Stockholm County, Sweden. It serves as the seat of the Vaxholm Municipality and occupies several islands, with the most populated among them being Vaxön, Resarö, Rindö, and Kullö. The island of Kullö is specifically noted for its nature reserve.

The name of the city is derived from Vaxholm Fortress, which was constructed in 1549 on the adjacent islet of Vaxholmen.
