Vallentuna is a city located in Stockholm County, Sweden. It serves as the seat of Vallentuna Municipality and had a population of 33,219 inhabitants as of 2018.
The area is characterized by a well-preserved cultural landscape with human habitation dating back as far as the Stone Age. Archaeological excavations conducted in southern Vallentuna near Lilla Gävsjö have uncovered remains of a settlement from this prehistoric period.
