Kungsholmen

Kungsholmen is an island located in Lake Mälaren as part of central Stockholm, Sweden. It is situated north of Riddarfjärden and is considered a component of the historical province of Uppland.

The island covers an area of 3.9 km2 (1.5 sq mi) with a perimeter of 8.9 km (5.5 mi). The highest point on Kungsholmen is located at Stadshagsplan, reaching an elevation of 47 metres (154 ft). As of current records, the island has a total population of 71,542 residents.
