Storuman is a locality and the seat of the Storuman Municipality located in Västerbotten County within the province of Lapland, Sweden. As of 2010, the population of the area was recorded at 2,207 inhabitants.
The town is geographically situated by the Ume River at the southeastern end of Lake Storuman. It serves as a primary administrative and residential center for its surrounding municipality in northern Sweden.
