Skutskär is a bimunicipal locality located in Sweden. It serves as the seat of Älvkarleby Municipality within Uppsala County. As of 2010, the population of the area was recorded at 6,075 inhabitants.
The locality is geographically divided between two administrative regions. While the majority of its residents live in Älvkarleby Municipality, a minor portion of the population resides in Gävle Municipality, which is located in Gävleborg County.
