Oxelösund is a locality and the seat of Oxelösund Municipality located in Södermanland County, Sweden. As of 2018, the town had a population of 11,488 inhabitants.
The locality is situated less than 15 kilometres south of Nyköping, which serves as its larger neighbor. Together, these two urban areas form a wider agglomeration with a total population of nearly 50,000 people.
