Degerfors is a locality and the seat of Degerfors Municipality in Sweden. It is situated in Örebro County and serves as the sixth-largest city within that county.
The town is located on the southern shore of lake Möckeln, positioned approximately 13 km south of the neighboring town of Karlskoga. As of 2010, the population of Degerfors was recorded at 7,160 inhabitants.
