Gagnef is a locality situated in the Gagnef Municipality of Dalarna County, Sweden. It serves as the second largest locality within its municipality, with a recorded population of 1,049 inhabitants in 2010.
The area consists of several small villages, including Kyrkbyn (The Church Village), Stationsbyn (The Station Village), Moje, Tjärna, Gräv, Gärsholm, Gagnefs Gråda, Österfors, Västerfors, Nordbäck, Gagnefsbyn, Nordåker, and Pellesgårdarna.
