Hammarstrand is a locality situated in Jämtland County, Sweden. It serves as the seat of Ragunda Municipality and had a population of 1,052 inhabitants as of 2010.
The town was constructed on the dry bed of the former lake Ragundasjön, which drained suddenly and catastrophically in 1796. Notable features of the area include a bobsleigh and luge track.
