Falkenberg is a locality situated in Halland County, Sweden. It serves as the seat of the Falkenberg Municipality and has a population of 27,813 inhabitants as of 2019. The name of the city is derived from the Swedish words for falcon (falk) and mountain (berg).

Geographically, the town is located at the mouth of the Ätran river. It is a popular destination for tourism during the summer months, featuring Skrea strand as its main beach.
