Vavanga is a genus of flowering plants that belonged to the family Rubiaceae. It was originally described in 1792 by Julius von Röhr to accommodate the species Vavanga chinensis.
The genus included a second species, Vavanga edulis, which was added by Martin Vahl. However, Vavanga is no longer recognized as a distinct genus; both species have since been sunk into synonymy with the genus Vangueria.
