Al Lith is a coastal city located in the Tihamah region along the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. It is situated southwest of the Islamic holy city of Mecca and south of the Miqat of Yalamlam.
The city serves as one of the large sea ports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea coast. With a population exceeding 20,800 people, Al Lith ranks as the fifth largest city in the Mecca Province by population.
