Khobar is a city and governorate located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Situated on the coast of the Persian Gulf, it serves as a primary component of the Dammam metropolitan area alongside the cities of Dammam and Dhahran.
The city functions as part of the residential core for Saudi Arabia's Persian Gulf region. As of 2022, the population within the city core was recorded at 409,549, while the total population of the governorate reached 658,550.
