Yanbu, also known colloquially as Yambu, is a city and governorate located on the Red Sea coast in the Medina Province of western Saudi Arabia. It serves as a significant regional hub and is currently the second most populated city in the province, following Medina.
The city is primarily recognized as a major industrial center and port. It hosts the Yanbu Industrial City and contains several oil refineries. Additionally, Yanbu is home to the province's only two ports: the Yanbu Commercial Port and the King Fahd Industrial Port.
