Nyamasheke is a district located in the Western Province of Rwanda. Its administrative capital town is Kagano.
The district covers a total area of 1,175 km2 and is divided into 15 sectors, 68 cells, and 588 villages. According to the 2022 national census, the region has a population density of 632 people per square kilometer.
