Borzya is a town located in Russia and serves as the administrative center of the Borzinsky District. It is situated in the Zabaykalsky Krai region, approximately 349 kilometers (217 miles) southeast of Chita, which is the administrative center of the krai.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 31,379, while the 2002 census reported 31,460 residents. For comparison, the 1989 Soviet census recorded a higher population of 36,373.
