Kodinsk is a town located in the Krasnoyarsk Krai region of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Kezhemsky District and is situated along the banks of the Angara River, approximately 735 kilometers (457 miles) north of the city of Krasnoyarsk.
According to census data, the population of Kodinsk has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The town recorded a population of 14,050 during the 1989 Soviet census, increasing slightly to 14,746 in 2002 and reaching 14,830 by the 2010 census.
