Achinsk is a city located in the Krasnoyarsk Krai region of Russia. It is situated on the right bank of the Chulym River, positioned near its intersection with the Trans-Siberian Railway. The city lies approximately 160 kilometers (99 miles) west of Krasnoyarsk.
As of the 2010 Census, Achinsk had a population of 109,155 residents. It serves as a regional settlement within the Siberian Federal District.
