Kungur is a town located in the southeast of Perm Krai, Russia. It is situated within the Ural Mountains at the confluence of the Iren and Shakva rivers with the Sylva river.
According to census data, the population of Kungur was 66,074 in 2010, following a previous count of 68,943 in 2002 and 81,402 during the 1989 Soviet census.
