Krasnokamsk is a town located in the Perm Krai region of Russia. It is situated on the north bank of the Kama River, approximately 35 kilometers (22 miles) west of Perm, which serves as the administrative center of the krai.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 51,916, following a count of 53,724 in 2002 and 57,681 during the 1989 Soviet census.
