Kizel

Kizel is a town located in the Perm Krai region of Russia. It is situated on the Kizel River, approximately 200 kilometers (120 miles) northeast of Perm, which serves as the administrative center of the krai.

The population of the town has fluctuated significantly over recent decades. According to census data, the population was 60,700 in 1959 and decreased to 36,746 by 1989. More recent figures show a continued decline, with 23,841 residents recorded in 2002 and 19,587 reported in the 2010 census.
