Gubakha is a town located in the Perm Krai region of Russia. It is situated on the Kosva River, approximately 400 kilometers (250 miles) northeast of the city of Perm.
According to census data, the population of Gubakha has fluctuated over recent decades. The 1989 Soviet census recorded a population of 36,858, which decreased to 31,687 by 2002 and further declined to 28,111 as of the 2010 census.
