Noyabrsk is a city in Russia situated in the middle of the West Siberian oil fields. It serves as the second largest city in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and is located on the Tyumen–Novy Urengoy railway, approximately 300 kilometers (190 mi) north of Surgut.
According to the 2010 census, the population of Noyabrsk was 110,620. The city is primarily characterized by its location within a major oil-producing region.
